Leigh Ann joins National Park Technology Center’s high school medical professions faculty with a wealth of experience in the medical field.
Dr. Burgess teaches the Pathway to Engineering curriculum in the Technology Center and also serves as an adjunct instructor for Engineering Graphics in the Math and Sciences Division. He previously taught Mathematics at Philander Smith College. Prior to his teaching experience he was an R&D engineer and engineering manager at three U. S. Department of Energy National Laboratories. He earned PhD and BS degrees in engineering from the University of Arkansas and an MS degree in engineering from the University of New Mexico.
