Leigh Ann joins National Park Technology Center’s high school medical professions
faculty with a wealth of experience in the medical field. She has experience as an
x-ray technologist for the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences. She also has many
years of experience in medical device sales and worked for the Arkansas Heart Hospital,
and in the cath lab at Saline Memorial Hospital.
She always wanted to teach and is very excited to be at NPC. She said, “I believe
things worked out exactly as they were supposed to be. Everyone is so nice and helpful
and the campus is gorgeous.” She is driven to accomplish what others tell her she
can’t accomplish and says perseverance has led to her success. “It’s not what happens
to you, it’s how you handle it,” said Leigh Ann. “Some of my most powerful blessings
have come from hardship.”
Leigh Ann enjoys barrel racing and taking care of her horses and 4-year-old son.
