Starting Enrollment at NPC as an International Student

Step 1

Complete the international student admissions application.

Step 2

Submit authenticated and translated copies of all academic records. National Park College requires international transcripts to be translated in English. This service can be provided through World Education Services or National Association of Credential Evaluation Services. You are responsible for accessing this service and all fees related to transcript authentication services.

Step 3

All international students should be proficient in the English language prior to enrollment. If you have taken the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language), you should submit official documentation of your scores.

Score minimums:

TOEFL PBT (Paper Based Test) - 500
TOEFL CBT (Computer Based Test) - 173
TOEFL IBT (Internet Based Test) - 61

Arrangements to take the TOEFL are provided at the Educational Testing Services website.

Step 4

An Affidavit of Financial Support must be provided to NPC for admission purposes and for issuance of the I-20 A-B form. Financial statements or letters from a local bank showing an amount equivalent to the current cost of attendance listed below. These statements or letters should show a balance within the last three months. The account holder should be listed on the Affidavit of Financial Support form.

Step 5

Submit the following documents.

MMR immunization shot record (measles, mumps and rubella).
2 MMR’s are acquired after arrival in the U.S.
Complete a screening for tuberculosis (T.B.) after arrival in the U.S.

Note: All documents must be received by June 1 for fall admission consideration and October 1 for spring admission consideration.

Cost of Attendance

The following information is provided concerning tuition, fees and an estimate of living expenses for full-time applicants who are non-Arkansas residents and from other countries that plan to attend National Park College.

You should arrive in the United States at least one week prior to the first day of classes to allow time for testing (if needed), registration, and to move in to on-campus housing. Please note, tuition, fees, books, supplies and housing are paid once per semester before classes begin.

The figures below are estimated expenses for an academic year full-time (12 credit hours).

Residency Requirement: International students are required to live in on-campus housing.

Note: The cost of transportation between your home country and the United States is not included in the above estimated expenses.

National Park College is authorized under United States Federal Law, Immigration and Nationality Act, Section 101 (a) (15) (F), to enroll non-immigrant alien students. These students are required to follow regular admission procedures and also provide evidence of financial responsibility and English language proficiency.
