Program Overview
The program covers all facets of the marine repair industry including engine repair and service, fiberglass and off-season boat maintenance. The Marine Technology program is the only one of its kind in the state of Arkansas and one of a handful in the United States.
Job Opportunities
The Marine Repair Program prepares you for an entry level technician position in the marine industry. Job opportunities range from entry level technician, technician, parts manager, service writer, and boat detailer. Opportunities are available in the repair and service field with national and local dealerships, dealership management, marine sales or as an independent service provider. Most marine repair shops have a friendly environment that promotes specialized education at factory training facilities.
Program Structure
Courses are offered in a traditional face-to-face classroom with hands-on learning experiences with a variety of tools and equipment.
