Program Overview
The Industrial Technology program provides you with the skills necessary for a variety of jobs in modern manufacturing facilities. The program will help you gain entry level knowledge and skills to set up, operate, maintain and repair the machines and control systems that power industry.
Program Structure
The Industrial Technology program is housed in a newly renovated lab with an attached classroom. The courses are traditional face-to-face classes with hands-on training systems using industrial components and real life problem solving scenarios.
Job Opportunities
NPC is located in a growing manufacturing hub, producing a diversity of products from rubber bands and bottle caps to industrial cables and lumber equipment. The Industrial Technology program provides the basis for a career in many fields including Fluid Power Mechanic, Controls and Automation, Technician, Multi-Craft Technician, Millwright, Sensors and Instrumentation Technician, Industrial Maintenance Mechanic and Mechatronics Technician, among others.

Technical Certificate in Industrial Technology
The 28 credit hour face to face hands-on program of study will result in a Technical Certificate in Industrial Technology and all hours will apply toward the AAS Degree in General Technology.

AAS Degree in General Technology
The Associate of Applied Science in General Technology is a 60 credit hour program of study. It is designed to meet the needs of students who wish to combine technical or vocational coursework with general education requirements to complete a two-year degree. The AAS in General Technology degree enables a student to design an individual program of study to fulfill a unique career goal that cannot be met through the completion of any single technology program offered by the college. It also serves as a bridge program for students enrolled in technical programs at other institutions who wish to complete an Associates Degree. Students wishing to complete the AAS in General Technology will develop an individual course of study through a structured advising process with faculty and college counselors.
