I am excited to be teaching first semester nursing students!
I am currently working on my Masters of Science of Nursing Education at Western Governors
University. I also have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Bachelor of Science in
Medical Technology, and a Bachelor of Arts in Microbiology.
In my first career, I was a Medical Technologist for 9 years at Arkansas Children's
Hospital. I wanted to be able to help patients more, so I decided to change my MT
career to pursue a nursing career. I have experience in ICU, geriatric/medical psych,
home health, hospice, and outpatient mental health. I enjoy the nursing profession
because I can make a difference in the lives of others.
