I am a graduate of Quapaw Technical Institute, class of 1996. I worked full-time
and pursued my RN degree after graduation with a completion in 2003. I recently complete
my BSN in 2015. I have served on nurse governance committees, specifically Nursing
Research Committee and Policy and Procedure Committee at ACH. I also served as principal
investigator for a grant funded study at ACH involving pain assessment in cognitively
impaired children, which was published in 2010 in the Journal of Pediatric Nursing.
I have presented nationally at the Society of Pediatric Nurses in Atlanta and Denver.
I plan to pursue a MSN degree with a focus on nursing education.
