Application Process
All students admitted to the Radiologic Technology program must successfully pass a criminal background check and a drug screen.
- Provide copy of high school transcript or GED. Transcript and diploma must be attached to your application. Please provide official transcripts for any college you have attended.
- Complete Radiologic Technology application, attach applicable transcripts, and attach items from steps 1 - 3.
- Please answer the following questions using a Word document:
- Explain your reasons for choosing Radiologic Technology as a career.
- The Radiologic Technology courses are very time intensive. What plans have you made to prepare to meet this schedule?
- What are your plans and aspirations for the future?
- The applicant will be required to take the ATI TEAS exam.

- The fee for the exam is $70.00 and must be paid when you register for the exam online. The exam is taken at the NPC Testing Center. If you are not a current NPC student, a $25.00 proctor fee will apply. This fee is payable to NPC at the time of testing.
- All paperwork must be completed and returned to Radiologic Technology office by April 15th.
- Schedule a meeting with program faculty and attend an information meeting.
Admissions Procedures
Admission process to the Radiologic Technology Program is selective. Minimum GPA (grade point average) for admission consideration is 2.5. All Science courses must be completed within the last 7 years. Grade point averages are calculated using only the pre-requisite courses required in the Radiologic Technology program. Selection decisions are made in May by the Radiologic Technology program faculty.
Criteria for admission:
- Minimum 2.5 GPA (grade point average) from required pre-requisite courses. All pre-requisite courses must be completed with a C or better. All science courses must be completed within the last 7 years.
- All students applying for the program must take the ATI TEAS Exam. A minimum score of 58 is required to be considered for the program. This test may be taken twice/admission cycle.
