Program Overview
The two-year Music transfer program is designed to prepare you to transfer all coursework to Henderson State University (HSU) to complete a bachelor’s degree in Music.
Program Structure
Music courses are offered in a variety of formats including one-on-one instruction on your instrument, web-enhanced, blended and online course work.
You will learn to:
- Perform beginning to intermediate college-level repertoire for your instrument of voice type
- Perform in one of NPC's large ensembles
- Approach repertoire informed by study of Music Theory, Sight-Singing and basic keyboard skills
- Complete all of your liberal arts core curriculum before transfer to Henderson State University for completion of music degree

Graduates who complete a music degree are employed as:

- Music Educator (K-12 or in Higher Education, following additional study)

- Artist Management
