Both the AS (RN) and the PN (LPN) Certificate are approved by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing. The Associate degree nursing program at National Park College located in Hot Springs, Arkansas, is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). The most recent accreditation decision made by the ACEN Board of Commissioners for the Associate nursing program is continuing accreditation. Professional Licensure
Federal regulation 34 CFR 668.43(a)(5)(v) requires an institution to make readily available to enrolled and prospective students whether programs leading to professional licensure or certification meet educational requirements in other states.
Students considering pursuing an academic program that leads to professional licensure are advised that NPC's programs prepare students to practice in the State of Arkansas and are not intended to prepare students for out-of-state licensure. NPC has not determined whether its curriculum prepares students for licensure in any other state.
Students enrolled in NPC's programs seeking to practice outside the state of Arkansas are advised to contact the appropriate licensing agency within their home state to seek information and additional guidance before beginning a program outside of their home state.
